My experience consisted of a firm that seemed inexperienced. They may be fine when you just have your W-2 and 1099s but did not seem experienced with other forms that I had. I had to explain what stock options were and I got charged $150 fee on top of the contractually agreed upon price for for an “additionally analysis for cost basis” for said stock options, which was basically just multiplying 2 numbers together from the form I provided.
